The Palm Springs Post is an independent online newspaper for Palm Springs, California. Our parent company is Tribune Publications.

We cover the desert as a working place, not a postcard: city hall and the ballot, development and land use, the visitor economy, and community life. We cover a planning commission with the same care we give a festival weekend.

Our standards follow the tradition of the Society of Professional Journalists' Code of Ethics: seek truth and report it, minimize harm, act independently, and be accountable and transparent.

We keep news and opinion strictly separate. Reporters report; they do not take positions on the matters they cover. Opinion pieces are labeled as opinion and signed by their authors.
